Biography

Luke first came to our attention in 2019 when he participated in our Young Talent World Tour, at the European stop in Fort William. He was already overseas racing in Junior World Cup DH events so couldn't attend the Tour stop for Oceania, and got an exemption to do the European stop. His character impressed us a lot and his results started to show on the race circuit. Like most young guns in downhill racing, Luke started in BMX racing before committing to the World Cup gravity scene. Wins across the board in the the under 17 category meant that an international career was waiting for him in the junior category in DH and U21 in Enduro. A breakout DH result was wininng the Junior Garbanzo DH in Whistler in 2019, then came a string of 7 wins in the Under 21 Category in the Enduro Worlds Series, followed by a win in Elite Enduro in 2023. Luke is a 3 time Elite National Downhill Champion.
